oh, i thought you were talking about how to make redstone move vertically, lol, i know that btw and yes, stairs are the way to make redstone dust go into a higher ground lvl ofcourse... not crafted stairs
You CAN use an inverter to move them up, inverters can have different looks, it's limitless what an inverter can look like. Logic Gates are shown and known for what they Do, not for what they look like. You can create alternates to almost every single logic gate there is.
well yes, but just making stairs is the same thing but without a redstone torch, lol. i would use an inverter just to make a redstone dust patch larger
Alright howl I give up, I'm getting nowhere trying to explain it to you, so I'm going to make a comprehensive guide on redstone, and show with pictures each gate and what it does.

Its hard to explain via the site as it will require active help i might make an area on the server once i gather up some materials.
I use redstone on my numerous contraptions on minecraft. If i need to I'll use it for crafting things.
Right now I am still just using it for torches, compass and basic stuff but want to learn how to use it to make circuits. I really need to find a simple step by step tutorial because it just seems so complicated that I end up saying "ok, will check this out more some other time"
