St. Patricks Day Bar Crawl! Erin Go Bragh! Saint Patricks day has made it's way yet again to Minecraft News! Story MCN's server is under siege by Apv! The rowdy admin is demanding ale and barmaids, but there are none in sight! You notice him making his way towards timesquare when a creeper runs up to him. Without blinking Apv grabs the creeper and smashes it's face repeatedly into a block of obsidian till it breaks. Hurry! While he's distracted build a pub for him to curb his aggression! The Contest For this contest I am issuing a challenge to the users of these forums to create a minecraft pub! Time: This contest begins as soon as this is posted, and ends March 16th at 12:00pm Noon GMT. What to build: Build the best Pub, Bar, Saloon, or Tavern in minecraft Single Player Survival or on the sites official SMP server. What's required: A picture of the start, mid-build, and finished project. Adding a map download for finished entries will be greatly appreciated but isn't required. Reward: The winner of this contest will get to have a custom site smiliey added to the site in their name, a set of diamond tools (on the server), and a unique title! Runners Up: Everyone who enters the contest will receive a special title to show their site support! Things to Consider: Be creative, a traditional Irish Pub would be cool, but so would an old west saloon! Don't be afraid to experiment. Didn't end up going to the Tilted Kilt, because I couldn't find a parking space, went to a local tavern however and the contest was judged as follows. Voters were worth 1pt each, while people dressed as leprechauns were worth 2pts each.
