We know some people can build some extraordinary structures in Minecraft. Do you build out or build up. If so how many floors did it have. Some buildings don't cover that much area and can be many stories high. While some can cover a very large area and be just a couple stories high.
I haven't built many tall standing structures. I have built many many larger sprawling ones with two stories minimum before though. I have also hollowed out a few mountains and built a system of twist and turns much like a maze before. I wound up making it a home away from home for awhile. I am sure someday i will attempt a big planned out design, but for right now I don't have the time to spend doing a big project.
I have once set to build a 100 floor skyscraper, but I gave up after floor 45. It was just too tedious for me to go on, so I decided to go and play something else. Had to take a break from Minecraft for a week after that. Since then, I'm still making tall constructions, but I'm not making floors for them.
I haven't made any big structures as far as height goes, the most floors I have done are four, only 20 blocks high. my tallest structure is only about 35 blocks high.
I have. I took two weeks and at least two to three hours a day to create a structure that reaches from the bedrock to the sky. In this case I was building downward. I had always made buildings towards the sky in attempt to make the biggest tower ever. I finished it and realized it has at least forty to sixty floor (because each floor was at least 6 squares high). I couldn't keep building towards the sky because of an update in the more recent series. So I started building downward. I stopped when I hit bedrock and realize that broke a block but it didn't disappear. I attempted to step on it and fell to my doom. Haha, I was at the edge of the world.
It takes so long to create a large structure that normally I start making one and then I stop because it just gets too boring. I think that the tallest building I ever made was about thirty floors. Normally I just end up making the buildings cover a large area, that is easier and more exciting to build.
I think 15 once. I was making a hotel, or at least trying to. Wanted to know roughly how they would look, the ingredients that I need, etc to make them happen in survival. Worked in my favor, at least. But it was really hard replicating it in Survival so I cut it down to 10.
So far I haven't really built any tall structures, preferring rather to build outwards. It's more fun that way in my opinion. As soon as I have more time to devote to playing minecraft, I intend to attempt a much larger structure that will be over 20 floors tall. I don't know if I'll be able to do that but I will give it a try.
The max that I've ever did was probably only around 11. It's because I don't really like to make my buildings too tall, I just want all of them interconnected with each other. There are floors I've made that are quite secretive as I design my floors to look like there's only ten of them, but once you find out where the secret passage is, you'll find out where floor 11 is.
I think the tallest tower I ever built in Minecraft stood at 250+ Blocks. It took me about 5 days to manage that.
I have to go online and find out who holds the record for most built floors. I bet there is like a bunch of videos about Minecraft on youtube.
