"Failed to bind to port" means that the Port that Minecraft is using (25565 by default) is not open on your router. You have two options:

    1. Use Hamachi. Just google Loginmein Hamachi, and download it. Then when you host the server it should automatically work off of the Hamachi IP.

    2. Open the port. Go to http://portforward.com, select your router model and everything, and it should tell you exactly how to open the port.

If neither of those work, your router might be stubborn, like my current one is. Best bet is Hamachi still.
